Tom Salta’s music has been featured on the Volvo S40 ‘Video Game’ commercial, “Making of Spider-Man 2” on HBO, “Making of Anaconda 2” on Cinemax, NBC's “Third Watch,” UPN’s “America’s Top Model,” CBS’ “Joan Of Arcadia,” and MTV's “Making the Video” and “Tough Enough.” Tom Salta also created the main theme for The Discovery Channel's “Wild Discovery.”
In the record industry Tom Salta has toured with and worked on numerous platinum releases by a diverse array of artists such as Peter Gabriel, Junior Vasquez, Everything But The Girl, Deep Forest, Mary J. Blige and Sinead O’Connor.
In 2004 Tom Salta released his debut solo album 2 Days Or Die under the artist name “Atlas Plug.” Available through the independent record label Persist Records, the album features his unique style of anthemic orchestral and electronica rock grooves. Several tracks off the album are currently being licensed for television shows, commercials, film promos and videogames.
Tom Salta’s video game credits include the original score to Need For Speed Underground 2 (Electronic Arts), Tom Clancey's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (Ubisoft), Cold Fear (Ubisoft), Still Life (Microids), Get On Da Mic (Eidos/A2M), Sprung (UbiSoft), RalliSport Challenge 2 (Microsoft Game Studios), Street Racing Syndicate (Namco) and others.
